Today I learned a funny way to trade the market, sell and buy on jewish holidays:

• Sell on Rosh HaShanah
• Buy on Yom Kippur

So theory seams to work, last week we had a 22 Points drop today a 20 Points gain.

Risk to Reward Ratio

Today I did not short GBPJPY short because it had only a 1:1 Risk Reward Ratio.

I will look at Entries on 60 Min Charts to take such trades in the future as using todays High Price as the initial short stop loss level is often too risky.

Picking High Probability Swing Targets

Today I learned once again that the right targets are the closing or opening price of the prior swing high or low and not the extreme high or low points when we are in a "trading range" not in expansion mode.

Its much more likely to get filled at those price levels +-10 ticks than on the extreme points.

If there was no prior swing high and we are making higher lows then obviously the 138,20%, 150% , 161,80% or 200% Extension can be used.

Tom Demark Trendlines and Targets

Today I learned to trade successful trendline breaks using Tom Demark Trendline Confirmation Indicators. The targets where always hit, GBPJPY short trendline break was tricky but the GBPUSD already traded higher so I cancled the short trade...
